A Brief Introduction to Ball Mill
The ball mill is the key equipment for the destruction after the material is crushed. It is widely used in cement, silicate finished products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, ferrous and non-ferrous metal beneficiation and glass ceramics and other production industries, dry or wet grinding of various ores and other grindable materials.
The materials are spirally and evenly entered into the first chamber of the mill by the feeding equipment through the feeding hollow shaft. There are stepped lining plates or corrugated lining plates in the chamber, and different standard steel balls are installed inside. The centrifugal force generated by the rolling of the cylinder brings the steel balls to a certain height. After falling down, it will hit and grind the material. After the material reaches the rough grinding in the first warehouse, it enters the second warehouse through the single-layer partition board, and the warehouse is inlaid with a flat lining board with steel balls to further grind the material. The powder is discharged through the discharge grate to complete the grinding work.
The ball mill is a member of the grinding equipment, which can grind the ore to the required fineness, especially the millimeter-grade rock, coal powder and any other hard objects are most commonly used. Grinding is the continuation of the crushing process. For example, in the beneficiation work, the main task is to grind the ore to the point of complete separation of useful components or complete separation of monomers. There are many types of mills, but ball mills and rod mills are usually used in metal mines.
